The barn is cold but the main house is nice and toasty. There is also optimal floor space for sleeping if it gets too cold to camp

An absolutely amazing accommodation in a beautiful setting with plenty of space and facilities. The nearby village is a 5 mins drive and there is endless hikes, walks, activities etc to do all very local to the accomadation. We stayed with a group of families made out of 50 people who all made memories for life.
One of the many benefits of staying here is the super fantastic hosts, we can not thank you guys enough for all you have done for us.
We are already organising our next trip!

Just had the most amazing weekend celebrating my 50th birthday here. Neil and Enid are amazing hosts, allowing us to visit twice before hand. They were incredibly accommodating and are such lovely friendly people. The facilities are first class, plenty of toilets and showers and the 3 kitchen areas were really well equipped. Highly recommended for a family party and we will definitely be back!

I've never stayed here, but everyone I've seen look like they're having a great time.
I come here for Steph and Mikes SRT gym. This is the indoor facility of Yorkshire Dales Guides, the best cave trainers I've met. If you fancy an adventure, book one!

Wedding of the decade, families camping, a marquee, lots of space for a wide variety of uses, stunning countryside. Could only have been lovelier with more sun and warmth but that's the risk in England.

Perfect! Loads of room including two living-room areas. The large building nearby has two floors of games areas for kids - small indoor football area, table tennis, air hockey, mini pool table. The kids loved it. There was a hose for us to wash our kit. Will definitely visit again. Note: no wifi, and we suggest you bring a fitted sheet for the mattresses.

Great venue. My friend hired the field and bunkhouse for a festival and it was fantastic. Didn't really go into the bunkhouse so I can't comment on that but the field was great. River running through the bottom too - if only it hadn't been raining I could've gone for a dip but the water was moving too fast. Great location. Facilities were clean and tidy. Literally no complaints.

We came here for my 40th birthday party for the weekend. The location is stunning, the house is warm, the facilities are great and the separate kitchenette was a bonus for our gluten free friend to prepare food in. The games room in the barn was an added bonus and was perfect for partying in.

After completing the 3 peak challenge we were all ready for a good night sleep. We were sound asleep an the fire alarm went off at 4:45am - we had to go and find someone to report this to and he said oh this has happened sever times. We were not impressed also because when reporting the issue my friend managed to lock herself out of her room because she had not been given all of the keys and she ended sleeping on a chair in our room for the last few hours. This put a real downer on the experience! Otherwise it would have been fine but surely if you have a faulty fire alarm and you are in the business of accommodation then it should be a priority to fix the problem!
