Xmas lunch. X2 occasions, both were fantastic, 1 x beef, 1 x pork. Plenty of veg available, extra if needed. Great staff. Good beer. Can't wait for next Xmas :-)

Always excellent GLUTEN FREE options at this quaint restaurant!! The GLUTEN FREE Fish and Chips are amazing!! The staff are lovely, welcoming and helpful when it comes to food intolerance or Coeliac Disease. Definitely worth a visit whilst in the Yorkshire Dales xx

Excellent homemade food, great service at a reasonable price; what more could you ask for. A little off the beaten track but well worth a visit. We will definitely be going back.

Lived in the area for years but this was my first visit to The Knights Table.
I can assure you that it will not be the last.
I honestly could not fault a thing.
The young lady who served us was a real life Mary Poppins, positively perfect in every way. The food was excellent and presented excellent value for money, the eating area was clean and its location offers breathtaking views.
All in all a very pleasant experience.

Had a fabulous meal last night celebrating a 70th birthday. Food was superb - a few of us had the sweet potato korma curry and all said it was delicious. Everyone followed their main course with a desert, of which we all eyed enviously other's choices. Can definitely recommend the salted caramel sundae with millionaire shortbread, although the cheesecake is on my shortlist for next time.
The staff were great (as always), attentive and helpful with special mention given to Hannah and Charlie who had to cope with our large party which included a 2 year old & 2 well behaved dogs.
The location is excellent with superb views across the dales so if any walkers are looking for a place to refresh with excellent food and drink then The knights table is a must.

Stopped for coffee after a long walk up to the beautiful Stainforth waterfall which is just a small walk away. Coffee and views amazing, dog friendly and while we didn’t eat, the menu looked good.

Ate here during a stay at the campsite next door.. inside is really pretty/cosy, absolutely beautiful food and great value, the pizza was one of the nicest pizzas I've had!
Staff were all really friendly too, if we were passing this way again we'd definitely return

Upon arrival, the views are spectacular. Advise sitting near a window or outside. Inside the area was big and open. Food didn't take long to come out. We got the Nacho's to start with, unreal! Great portion size, cheese layered through not just on top, how it should be! Also ordered Steak and Onion Pie and Grandma's cheese pie. Both were exceptional. The Steak pie was rammed with meat 🤌 The dessert was billionaire ice cream sundae, full of delicious surprises from top to bottom. (See Photo's for food) The reason I didn't give 5 stars for service or atmosphere is because the table wasn't cleaned properly on arrival and the place was filled with dogs that kept disrupting the peace. This place is great for families.

Lovely food, good price, superb location looking over the rolling Yorkshire countryside. Looses a little bit of atmosphere with some high ceilings but highly recommended.

2nd time that I have eaten here and the standard on both occasions is great.
Well priced, generous portions of food, which tastes fantastic.
Great beers/drinks are available.
I will be returning soon.
